Shipping Process
- Parcel Handling: Parcels are sent to a centralized redistribution hub before being delivered to the designated pickup point.
- Delivery Timeframe: Delivery to the pickup point typically takes 5 to 7 business days after shipping.
- Holding Period: Parcels are held at the final pickup location for up to seven days from the time the consignee is notified. Unclaimed parcels will be returned to the shipper at their expense.
Pickup Notification
- Consignees will receive a notification via email only. Penguin Pickup does not contact end users by phone.
Pickup Locations
- Some Penguin Pickup locations use lockbox systems and may not have staff on-site to assist.
- Consignees must follow specific instructions provided by Penguin Pickup for accessing parcels at these locations.
Payment Requirements
- Ontario Northland does not accept prepaid advance parcels for Penguin Pickup shipments.
- All payments must be made in person at an Ontario Northland corporate station or an authorized third-party agency prior to shipping.
Accuracy of Information on Shipping Labels
- It is crucial to provide accurate consignee and shipper information during the shipping process.
- Incorrect or incomplete details may result in parcels being returned to the shipper at their expense.
