Bus Service to Hearst Increases to Daily Service

Ontario Northland will increase bus service between Hearst and Timmins (via Cochrane) to seven days per week effective immediately.

“We are looking forward to providing daily service to Hearst,” said Tracy MacPhee, Director of Passenger Operations. “We have heard positive feedback from both our passengers and bus parcel express customers who will benefit from daily service.”

Increased service to Hearst is part of the provincial government’s investment in bus transportation as recently announced in Thunder Bay by Minister Steven Del Duca, Minister Michael Gravelle and Minister Bill Mauro.Ontario Northland’s agency in Hearst is the Esso at 1112 Front Street. Bus tickets can also be purchased online at www.ontarionorthland.ca or by calling 1-800-461-8558.

Kasper Transportation is expected to connect in Hearst with Ontario Northland by the end of the year. Kasper Transportation is a northern-focused carrier offering multiple scheduled trips every day between Ontario and Manitoba.
