Q5: Am I able to change or refund my ticket?

  • Ticket refund and exchanges are permitted and a 15% administration fee applies. Refunds and exchanges must be completed prior to the date of the original scheduled travel.

Q6: Do I need to purchase a GO Transit fare?

  • No, when you purchase through Ontario Northland, you will be issued a unique ticket number and print out that will allow you to board the GO Train. You will also receive a unique ticket number for the Ontario Northland bus portion. Please be prepared to show your tickets (paper or on an electronic device) when requested by GO transit or Ontario Northland.

Q7: Can I travel on just the Ontario Northland or GO Train portion of the trip?

  • No, passengers must be connecting between both GO Train and Ontario Northland for this service. Tickets are not permitted to be purchased for each portion individually (i.e. Toronto Union Station to Allandale Waterfront Station or Huntsville to Gravenhurst).

Q8: Why does the ticket show a transfer at Barrie Allandale Waterfront for the southbound trip, when the train connection is in Aurora?

  • As this service is in a pilot test phase, the system shows a transfer at Allandale for the southbound portion. Passengers will stay on the bus at Allandale, and continue on the Ontario Northland bus to connect at Aurora GO Station. The Ontario Northland bus will match the same schedule as the GO Transit schedule. Station stops between Allandale GO and Aurora GO on the southbound trip are available upon request.
